Jared Woolley and Henry Brzustewicz are returned to the London Knights in the OHL this fall by the Los Angeles Kings this week
The LA Kings' official PR account on X posted late this week that the team is returning defensemen Henry Brzustewicz and Jared Woolley to the Knights in the OHL. This move comes as the Kings wrap up training camp and the preseason in about 10 days' time after the Oct. 4 preseason finale matchup at home at Crypto.com Arena against the Anaheim Ducks.
Brzustewicz and Woolley are returning to the OHL with the Knights to resume their development in the juniors this upcoming season. These two Kings' defensemen prospects are expected to play on the top defensive line pairing for the Knights this upcoming season in the OHL.
The Kings' coaching staff wants Brzustewicz and Woolley to get more experience and development in the juniors before they get recalled to the NHL with LA.
Head coach Jim Hiller and the Kings are on a roll to start the preseason and training camp this fall. The Kings have an undefeated 3-0 record after a convincing 3-0 shutout win over the Ducks on the road at the Honda Center on Wednesday night (Sep. 24).
The Kings already trimmed down the training camp roster this past week by sending down four prospects to the juniors. Last week, the Kings returned forward Jimmy Lombardi (Flint Firebirds-OHL), defenseman Nate Corbet (Kelowna Rockets-WHL), forward Jan Chovan (Sudbury Wolves-OHL), and goalie Carter George (Owen Sound Attack-OHL).
Brzustewicz and Woolley each played one preseason game for the Kings this fall.
Next up for the Kings in the preseason this fall is a matchup against the Ducks at Crypto.com Arena on Saturday afternoon (Sep. 27).
