Trade for right-handed forward
If there is one thing the Los Angeles Kings should hope to add to the roster before the trade deadline is a right-handed forward.
Right now, the only forward who in the Top 9 that shoots right is Alex Laferriere while Trevor Lewis (currently on injured reserve) and Akil Thomas are the other players who are right-handed. However, Lewis and Thomas are not the answers to this problem and have primarily been on the fourth line.
General manager Rob Blake has already reportedly started to have discussions with the Philadelphia Flyers being a team mentioned that the Kings have talked to. Based on the roster, and the fact the team has been winning, it seems like this might be the only thing the Kings would be looking to add at this point in the season.
If the Kings could find a right-handed forward, particularly one who excels as a goal-scorer, it would bring a lot more balance to this offense.
