The Los Angeles Kings are going to look to bounce back on Sunday night against the Edmonton Oilers in Game 4 of the seven-game series. They had a chance to take a commanding 3-0 lead in the series with a lead in the third period but four straight goals by the Oilers was enough to give Edmonton a win by a final score of 7-4.
Now with the series at 2-1, this game is pivotal in this series as the Kings could go back to Los Angeles with a two game lead, which is what they left Los Angeles with, or the series could be tied and now turns into a Best of 3 series. If the Kings want to have a chance to win the series on Tuesday night, they must win in this game and these are four players they are going to need to produce.
Quinton Byfield
Fans were certainly excited to see the way Quinton Byfield finished the regular season and started to look like the top-tier forward that many believed he could be. In the final 32 games of the regular season, Byfield averaged more than a point per game and continued his strong play into this series with two goals and an assist in the first two games.
In Game 3, it was a different story and he didn't have the same impact for the Kings with no points, only one shot on goal and a +/- of -2. The good news for the Kings is that they don't need to solely rely on Byfield and have a number of players who can make an impact but when Byfield is making plays and scoring, this is a much tougher Kings team to beat.
