Alex Turcotte

After 32 NHL games from 2021 through 2024, Alex Turcotte was a full-time NHL player this past season and played in 68 games, due to missing some games because of injuries. During that time, he would set career highs in goals (9) and assists (16) and should be able to build on that next season.

Turcotte was making an impact early in the season as the Kings moved him around the lines and at times, was on the Kings' top line next to Kopitar and Kempe. He would have 19 of his 25 points through 44 games, but he didn't make the same impact after the 4-Nation Faceoff break.

The Kings made a great move after the trade deadline, though that helped Turcotte bounce back by moving him to the fourth line with Tanner Jeannot and Samuel Helenius. Unfortunately, the injuries came right as they started to make an impact.

The coaching staff might have found something, and if Turcotte starts out next season on the fourth line, it should help the depth of the forwards and help Hiller balance the ice time a little more.
