The Los Angeles Kings ended November on a high note with three straight wins over the Winnipeg Jets, the Anaheim Ducks, and Ottawa Senators. They were able to secure their first three-game win streak due in large part to these players, who are entering December playing some of their best hockey.
5 Los Angeles Kings heating up heading into December
Anze Kopitar
Anze Kopitar has been playing great hockey for almost the entire season but over the last five games he has only gotten better. In four of the last five games, he has had two points with three goals and five assists.
The goals are the one thing that stands out. He has seen a significant uptick after only scoring five in the first 21 games, three of which were in the season opener against the Buffalo Sabres. Right now he is on pace to set a career-high in points and would be the first time since the 2017-18 season that he breaks 90.
