The Los Angeles Kings have only three games left in the regular season and while they know they are in the playoffs, and who they will be playing, there is still some things left to fight for as the regular season comes to a close. The most notable is securing home ice in the first round and that magic number is down to two points.

However, there are also some players who will be looking to reach some personal milestones in these final games. These are four milestones or records that are still within reach for this LA Kings team.

Los Angeles Kings record for most points in a season

After the win over the Colorado Avalanche, the Los Angeles Kings have 101 points on the season and it is the second time in three seasons they have broken 100 points. They also did it during the 2022-23 season and finished with 104 points, which was only one point short of the franchise record.

The record would be set back in the 1974-75 season when that Kings team had 105 points, led by head coach Bob Pulford.

The Kings final three games are road games against the Edmonton Oilers and Seattle Kraken before a final home game against the Calgary Flames. The Kings need just four points to tie, five points to break the record that has stood for 50 years.

It will be a little bit of a challenge as the Kings have struggled on the road but it is impressive that the record is still within reach at this point of the season.
