It's been well known in this past few months this regular season that Holland and the Kings' front office have wanted to prioritize adding more top and middle-six offensive scoring wingers and playmakers in the active roster lineup this campaign. Vancouver Canucks veteran forward Evander Kane could be a proven and experienced player with some familiarity playing with Holland in the West in this past few years in the Pacific Division with the Edmonton Oilers.
Multiple reports in this past couple of months in the West in the Pacific Division have confirmed that the Kings and Holland in the front office this regular season have shown interest in at least kicking the tires on the possibility of a trade on the block and at the trade deadline for Kane from the Canucks in Vancouver.
It wouldn't surprise me to see Kane end up in a Kings uniform at the trade deadline on the trade block this regular season in the West.
