Patrik Laine, W
A few weeks ago on the trade block and before the trade deadline this month in early March, the Kings were being reported as showing interest on the block in Patrik Laine from the Canadiens in Montreal this regular season. The Kings showed interest in getting Laine from the Canadiens in the East after Holland and the LA front office swung out of the park to get Artemi Panarin from the New York Rangers this past month in February.
Early this week on Tuesday (March 3), it was reported that the Kings have re-ignited interest on the trade block this regular season for the trade deadline to possibly kick the tires on trading for Laine again from the Canadiens in Montreal in the West.
If Laine could add an offensive boost scoring the puck this regular season to the active roster lineup in the Pacific Division, it would make sense for the Kings to get more help in the top-six forward lines core group this upcoming week on the trade block.
