The Los Angeles Kings are heading home with an impressive win over the Carolina Hurricanes. They are able to end a road trip that has been pretty tough on a high note after losing the first four games of the trip.

It certainly took a team effort to secure the 4-2 win over the Hurricanes but these were three players in particular who really stood out for the Los Angeles Kings.

Kevin Fiala

The Los Angeles Kings really struggled to score goals on this road trip, after getting shutout in the last two games entering Saturday. They were able to change that against the Hurricanes with four goals, including two from Kevin Fiala.

Fiala would score one goal in the second period that extended the Kings lead to 3-1 and after the Hurricanes scored in third period, Fiala added his second goal of the night to once again give them a two goal lead.

One of the reasons for the Kings struggles offensively is that they don't have a true second option in terms of a goal scorer. Kevin Fiala certainly can be that but he has been very inconsistent and it shows how different this offense is when he is producing.
