In roughly 24 hours, the Los Angeles Kings will begin training camp with the start of rookie camp practice for the 2025 Golden State Rookie Faceoff. Players will report for rookie camp for the Kings on Sep. 11, one day before games commence for the Golden State Rookie Faceoff.

Most prospects and rookies in the Kings' development organization will compete in rookie camp in the coming days and weeks in Southern California at FivePoint Arena in Anaheim this upcoming weekend.

But not all Kings prospects will be competing in the Rookie Faceoff event this weekend and in practice this week. Some are competing overseas in Europe, along with a handful of players in the system playing in the OHL preseason this fall.

Here are three Kings prospects who have impressed in the OHL preseason in the last couple of weeks.

Liam Greentree, F (Windsor Spitfires)

The Kings' top overall prospect in the organization, forward Liam Greentree, is one of the highlighting players on the rookie camp invite roster this month. Greentree has looked great for the Kings since rehabbing from a wrist injury and surgery he had earlier this offseason.

In the first preseason game he played with the Windsor Spitfires in the OHL preseason, Greentree went off for four goals and one assist, including the insurance goal for his team in a convincing 7-3 win this past week.

Greentree has also looked good in practice and training camp with the Spitfires in the OHL this preseason. We've heard good things in various reports and discussion surrounding his rehab late this summer.

Carter George, G (Owen Sound Attack)

After two weekends of OHL preseason games on the schedule, goalie Carter George leads the league in save percentage in the preseason (.979). In two games played, George has stopped 47 of 48 shots, including a convincing 4-1 win for the Owen Sound Attack over the Barrie Colts last week.

Later this week, George will report for the Rookie Faceoff event for the Kings for the second straight year with the organization.

George has looked every bit the part of not only the Sound Attack's clear-cut No. 1 goaltender for this upcoming OHL regular season, but also one of the best goalie prospects in the Kings system.

Henry Brzustewicz, D (London Knights)

Two defensive top prospects and recent draft picks in the past year for the Kings, Jared Woolley and Henry Brzustewicz, are expected to be key linemates on the blue line for the London Knights in the OHL this upcoming season.

The latter of those two defensemen for the Knights is off to a great start in the OHL preseason, scoring multiple points in a couple of games in the past couple of weeks in the league.

In two games played with the Knights in the OHL this preseason in London, Brzustewicz has tallied up three assists and three total points. He registered two assists in a close 6-5 win for the Knights over the Sarnia Sting on Aug. 29 a couple of weeks ago.

Brzustewicz is one of the Kings' top blue-line prospects going into training camp and the preseason this fall in the organization for LA.
