Seth Jones, Nashville Predators

Jones came into this year’s NHL Draft as a possible number one selection, then the draft started and he fell down to the number four selection and right into the laps of the Nashville Predators. Jones’ fall down the draft board was nothing personal, but the idea of offense over defense. But Jones commented on the drop and will use it as a motivator for his play.

This could be the most influential draft choice in Predators history and the idea of Jones and Shea Webber on the blue line together should make any team a little scared.

The Predators are in the same boat as the Avalanche, they grabbed some new teams in their division but remain in the Western Conference.
