One super fan for the Los Angeles Kings showed us why you don't turn off the draft in the seventh round. They brought a high-energy approach in the closing round of the 2025 Draft, and made what might be perhaps the most entertaining pick of the afternoon.
Jeremy, took the stage to announce the Kings seventh-round pick and immediately got the crowd pumped up, saying, "LA, how are we feeling? Can we get a go, Kings go, up in here?" Right then and there, you knew this was going to be one awesome announcement, even in the seventh round of a draft when getting one's named called on the draft stage is often the highlight of their pro hockey career. Check it out below.

Jeremy announced defenseman Will Sharpe's name as the Kings pick, and it's kicks off an exciting start to the prospect's career in the Kings system. And Sharpe's got some potential, clocking in with a decent 6'0, 194-lb build. He posted 44 points and nine goals between Lethbridge and Kelowna across 66 games.
Los Angeles Kings seventh-round pick got one high-energy introduction from a Kings super fan
Regardless of what happens with Will Sharpe, as he'll have to claw his way through the ranks just to land in the NHL, he can be rest assured that he had the most energetic call-out over the last 24 hours. And it wasn't like the competition to take the title this year was easy, considering how many guest announcers there were this year.
Overall, Jeremy made the seventh round of the NHL Draft memorable, and that's not an easy thing to do when so many of these late-round players are AHL-caliber talents at best. Or, they may forge out a decent career overseas.
And he reminded all of us exactly why you stay tuned to all seven rounds, even if your favorite team is done picking for the day. That was one memorable announcement, and one we'll be talking about for years.
