Warren Foegele - Anze Kopitar - Alex Laferriere
It may seem like a demotion for Anze Kopitar moving down to the third line but with where I suspect the Kings are going with all their lines, there won't be much difference between the top line and the fourth line in terms of ice time.
However, moving Kopitar down to the third line can limit his minutes somewhat and keep him fresher longer and into the playoffs while also giving him some potentially winnable matchups.
Why this makes the most sense is that it puts a veteran like Kopitar with a young player like Alex Laferriere, who is coming off a career season and would only benefit from playing alongside someone like Kopitar. When Warren Foegele, who was excellent in his first season with the Kings, is the third piece to this line, there is a chance for this group to be highly productive.
Corey Perry - Alex Turcotte - Joel Armia
The fourth line is unchanged and is probably the one line at this point is the most likely as free agent additions Corey Perry and Joel Armia were brought in for depth and unlikely to find a way into the Top 9.
As for Alex Turcotte, he is probably ready for one of those Top 9 spots after a solid season but the former first-round pick is probably not going to beat out any of the players ahead of him at this point in his career.
