The second player to jump into the top 10 who was originally picked outside of the first round in this redraft from 1995 in the NHL is center Marc Savard. The fourth-leading scorer from this draft class, Savard had over 700 career regular season points and over 200 career goals.

Different from much of the rest of this draft class, some of the best years of Savard's time in the NHL came later in his career with the Boston Bruins in the mid-to-late 2000s decade. Savard was a two-time All-Star and nearly received a Stanley Cup ring with the Bruins in 2011.

Savard was a steal for the Rangers with the 91st overall pick in the fourth round of the 1995 draft.

Since the Jets aren't able to keep Doan in this hypothetical redraft, Savard is still a pretty good player for this franchise to get a seventh overall in the first round of the 1995 draft.

Daymond Langkow was originally picked fifth overall by the Lightning in the first round of the 1995 draft. He was one of the seven players from this draft class in '95 who played over 1,000 career regular season games and scored over 200 regular season goals in the NHL.

A very consistent scorer for the Flames, Coyotes, and Lightning in the 2000s, Langkow had seven seasons with at least 50 points in the regular season.

Langkow doesn't fall all that far in this redraft, dropping down three spots to the Canadiens, and still going in the top 10 in the 1995 class.

Right-winger Sami Kapanen is another fourth-rounder who vaults into the first round in the top 10 for this redraft from 1995. Kapanen was a two-time All-Star for the Hartford Whalers/Carolina Hurricanes in the 1990s and 2000s. And he helped lead the Canes to the franchise's first-ever Stanley Cup Finals appearance against the Detroit Red Wings in 2002.

Despite his career in the NHL being cut short due to injury issues later on, Kapanen shouldn't be forgotten for his accomplishments in this draft class from 1995. Kapanen ranked in the top 10 in goals, points, and All-Star nods from this draft class.

The only team in the lottery that sticks with its original draft pick in the top 10 from the 1995 class is the Florida Panthers, who picked right-winger Radek Dvorak 10th overall to bolster their forward core. Dvorak

Dovrak ranks third in games played, sixth in goals, and sixth in overall points from the 1995 draft class. He is one of just three forwards from this draft class from '95 who played in over 1,200 career regular season games.
