1. Jordan Spence

Among all the players on the roster, the one player that seems to be the most likely to be traded over the next week is defenseman Jordan Spence. He was a fourth round pick by the Kings in the 2019 NHL Draft and has been a key part of the rotation for the past two seasons and this season has seen his average time on ice increase over three minutes.

He has seen his production also improve as he already set a career high in goals with three and is five assists away from tying his career high in that category.

The Kings probably would like to keep both Spence and Clarke but with how strong the defense is and the need for a goal scorer, one of these two players probably will be moved. Even though Spence has been playing more, Clarke should be the player that the Kings try to keep out of trade discussions.

For any team that needs a young defenseman, Spence would be a great addition as he is still under contract through the 2025-26 season and would only be a restricted free agent after that. It wouldn't be surprising by the time the NHL Trade Deadline passes if the Kings package Spence and Moore to add a top goal scorer.
