2. Adrian Kempe

In terms of the skaters, there wasn't any player more valuable to the LA Kings this season than Adrian Kempe. When he was playing well, the Kings almost certainly were winning that night regardles of the opponent.

He would finish the season first on the team in goals (35) and points (73) and tied a career high in +/- of +22. He would also add seven power-play goals and finished third on the team in game-winning goals with five.

What is even more remarkable is looking at the splits between Kempe's stats in Kings' wins compared to losses. In the 48 wins last season, he had 59 points and a ridiculous +/- of +44 while in the 33 losses and ties he had only 14 points.

If the Kings are able to bring in some help for their offense this season, and in turn take some pressure off Kempe while giving him more quality chances, next season could end up being a career-year for him.
