What to expect from Glenn Gawdin in the 2024-25 season?
Glenn Gawdin was a fourth-round pick by the St. Louis Blues in 2015 but it wasn't until a few years later that he would sign a three-year deal with the Calgary Flames. He would play four seasons for the Stockton Heat before the past two seasons with the San Diego Gulls.
In total, he has appeared in only 13 NHL games over the past four seasons and only one this past year. However, this past season was his best yet at the NHL level with career highs in goals, five more than his previous career high, and points (55) along with a career-best shooting percentage of 12.9%. Meanwhile, he had 30 or more assists for the second time in three seasons.
Gawdin shouldn't be expected to contribute much to the Kings' season but will be a big part of the Ontario Reign this upcoming season. He should find himself as the center on the first or second line for the Reign and try to help them reach the Calder Cup playoffs for the fourth straight season.
