Hockey was back in Quebec City for the first time in a long time as the Los Angeles Kings would go up against the Boston Bruins. While it was only preseason, the Kings did a great job setting the tone and coming away with a 4-1 victory on Thursday night.

The scoring would be tough to come by until midway through the second period when Quinton Byfield would find the net for the first time but certainly wouldn't be the last. In fact, he would score again about 30 seconds after that first goal.

It was the Bruins turn to respond as they would end up with a goal of their own to cut the lead in half. However, that is as close as they would get as Adrian Kempe would score a short-handed goal in the third period before Byfield completed the hat trick with his third goal of the night in the third period.

While it is only preseason, and should be kept in perspective, these are three takeaways for the Los Angeles Kings from their game against Boston.
