The Ontario Reign will open up a highly anticipated run in the postseason in the playoffs this spring late this month in late April in the second round of the AHL playoffs against the Pacific Division and in-state rival Coachella Valley Firebirds on Wednesday night (April 29) at home at Toyota Arena in the Inland Empire.
Head coach Andrew Lord and the Los Angeles Kings' AHL affiliate Ontario had a record-breaking finish for the franchise this past regular season in the standings in the Pacific Division, finishing up the 2025-26 campaign with 99 points and the division crown in this past few months.
This will be the first time that the Reign are playing on home ice in the postseason in the playoffs in Ontario in the Inland Empire in this past couple of years (since 2024). The Reign will face the Pacific Division foe and building rival on the ice in the AHL affiliate of the Seattle Kraken, the Firebirds from Coachella Valley.
