One free agent the LA Kings hope their division rivals lose this summer

If any of these players were to sign somewhere outside the division, it would be a win for the Kings.

The Los Angeles Kings are going to try their best to keep their top free agent this offseason in Vladislav Gavrikov. There is no question that if they were to see him leave for another team, it would be a big hole in their defense and one that the rest of the Pacific Division would probably be happy to see.

However, every team is seemingly facing these kinds of challenges this summer, and the question is which of the Kings' division rivals would be worse off if they were to be in the same predicament. These are the top free agents for the other teams in the Pacific Division that the Kings would be happy to see leave the division.

Vegas Golden Knights - Nicolas Hague

The Golden Knights have most of their core under contract heading into next season and restricted free agent Nicolas Hague is probably their top free agent this offseason. The former second round pick has played in 364 games over six seasons, but this past season might have been one of his worst as he tied a career-low in points (12) and his second-lowest average time on ice at just around 17 minutes per game in seasons where he played 50 or more games.

Hague is an interesting player because it appears the Golden Knights are actively trying to trade him. They have limited cap space and with Hague being a restricted free agent, he certainly is in line for a bigger contract.

Depending on the return and what the Golden Knights do with the cap space, this is a player that they would miss.
