The Los Angeles Kings are currently on a four game win streak after their last game against the Calgary Flames was postponed due to the wildfires in the Los Angeles area. The Kings have certainly loved playing at home with an excellent 14-2-1 record at Crpyto.com Arena this season.
However, they will be tested over the next month with 10 of their next 12 games on the road. That stretch starts on Friday against the Winnipeg Jets, who is arguably the best team currently in the NHL right now.
After the game against the Jets, it is four divisional matchups against the Calgary Flames, Edmonton Oilers, Vancouver Canucks, and Seattle Kraken. This could be a great opportunity for the Kings to move past the Oilers and into second place in the Pacific Division.
The fact that the Los Angeles Kings are third in the Pacific Division but near the Top 5 in most power rankings shows just how strong this division is. It will not be easy for the Kings (or Oilers or Golden Knights) to win the division this season.
