The Quarter Century team for the NHL comes as the NHL Network has been releasing player lists and top rankings, counting down to the upcoming 2025-26 season for the league.

Included with the Quarter Century Team from the Kings from key teams for the franchise in the past couple of decades are center Anze Kopitar, defenseman Drew Doughty, and goaltender Jonathan Quick. It goes to show how many great players the Kings have drafted and developed in this current century in the NHL that the franchise has three players represented on this list.

Some of the more shocking exclusions from the Quarter Century Team were five-time All-Star defenseman Erik Karlsson, three-time Stanley Cup-winning center Jonathan Toews, and Hall-of-Fame caliber goaltenders Henrik Lundqvist and Carey Price.

Doughty, Kopitar, and Quick were all top players and crucial parts of the Kings teams that won two Stanley Cups in the past decade in the 2010s.

Here's a look at the complete NHL Quarter Century Team from the NHL Network. For context, all the players included in the Quarter Century Team for the NHL debuted on or after Jan. 1, 2000.
