Quinton Byfield has his best game of the season for the Los Angeles Kings
One of the more maddening aspects of the season for the Los Angeles Kings has been the lack of production from Quinton Byfield. The former first round pick was coming off a 20 goal season and had high expectations coming into the year.
However, Byfield has been a non-factor for most of the season but that wasn't the case today against the Rangers. He would have his first multi-point game since November 5th with one goal and one assist, which might have been more impressive than the goal with the way he was able to move with the puck and find Warren Foegele for the goal.
There is no question that Quinton Byfield can be a difference maker for the Los Angeles Kings and while they have been able to win up to this point, if they want to continue to sit near the top of the division and more importantly make a deep playoff run they need this Quinton Byfield on a consistent basis.
