Brad Marchand (Florida Panthers)
The last player is one that would only be a short-term option but is a left-handed forward that could give the Kings decent minutes. Brad Marchand is not the same player he was 10 years ago but still can deliver close to 20 goals a season.
Marchand spent his entire career with the Boston Bruins before being traded to the Florida Panthers this year and is set to be a free agent at the end of their playoff run. One of the big reasons the Kings should consider Marchand is his playoff experience, and more importantly be a voice on what has to happen to advance in the playoffs.
In his career with the Bruins, he would play in three Stanley Cup Finals and win the series once in 2011. That kind of experience would be invaluable in the locker room as the Kings look to not only get back but advance in the playoffs.
