LA Kings have lots of questions with little time to find answers after Sharks' loss

The Los Angeles Kings had arguably their worst performance of the season, and if it wasn't the worst it was definitely the most embarrassing. They would go on the road to play the San Jose Sharks and the Sharks wasted no time getting on the board with a goal by Nico Sturm in the first two minutes of the game.

They didn't let that goal impacted them that much and kept them scoreless for the remainder of the first period before they took the lead in the second after goals by Brandt Clarke and Anze Kopitar. However, the Sharks would tie it up before the end of the second period but the game wasn't lost at that point.

However, the third period was a different story as the Kings gave up five goals, including three in the first four minutes of the third period. They looked completely lost which was disheartening to see as the Sharks are one of the worst teams in the NHL and the Sharks out-played them for the final 20 minutes.

The Kings don't have much time to regroup as they will return home to play a Winnipeg Jets team that leads the NHL with 36 points, has a league high goal differential of +37, and has won seven of their last 10 games.

After the game on Wednesday, the Kings have back-to-back games with the Anaheim Ducks and Ottawa Senators, two games they should win but nothing is for certain at this point. These are some of the questions that the Kings have to answer before Wednesday night.
