Alex Turcotte

One player that could theoretically could be made available and could generate interest from around the league is Alex Turcotte. The former first round pick at this point is more than likely going to be the center on the fourth line and was a role he played well during the second half of the season and in 68 games finished with nine goals and 16 assists.

He is still a young player and showed enough development that there might be teams interested in trading him before he has a true breakout season. For the Kings, the move would make sense in the fact that they still have Samuel Helenius on the roster and he could step in as the center alongside Corey Perry and Joel Armia.

At this point, if the Kings make a trade it would have to be for an impact player and probably would need to package all three players on this list to get a deal done. It could hurt some of the depth they have built but might be that final piece needed for a deep playoff run.
