The Los Angeles Kings are looking for their fourth win in five games when they go on the road to play the Flames in Calgary Monday night. This divisional matchup will be important to not only keep pace ahead of the Vegas Golden Knights but also keep their lead over the Flames, who are four points back in the standings.

This matchup will be the first career road game for Samuel Helenius, who will play in his second NHL game after recording an assist on Saturday night against the Columbus Blue Jackets. However, that won't be the only change as the Kings are expected to have another new face at left wing on the top line.

Trevor Lewis expected to play on the top line for the Los Angeles Kings

According to Zach Dooley with LA Kings Insider, Lewis was skating with Anze Kopitar and Adrian Kempe during Monday's skate. Lewis has played in all 16 games for the Kings this season but has primarily been on the fourth line and averaged around 11 minutes per game.

However, based on the current roster it makes sense to move Lewis to that top line based on some of the other combinations. At times this season, Quinton Byfield and Alex Laferriere have played on that top line but with Warren Foegele, these three have probably been playing the best over the past 10 games of so.

The Kings could have kept Kevin Fiala at the left wing spot but he has been his most productive playing alongside Phillip Danault so pairing them also makes sense. This would leave Andre Lee or Akil Thomas for that spot but these two, along with Helenius, have alot of experience playing together on the Ontario Reign.

Trevor Lewis might not be the player fans would hope to be on the first line but the attack is probably the most well-rounded offense with these line combinations.
