Warren Foegele
The best offseason acquisition is easily the free agent signing of Warren Foegele. The former Edmonton Oilers has been a perfect fit within this team and has 11 goals and 12 assists with a +/- of +19 (which currently is second on the Kings).
He is currently on pace to surpass last season's totals with the Oilers when he had 20 goals and 21 assists, which both are career highs for Foegele. There is no question this is a player who has certainly stood out through the first half of the season for the Los Angeles Kings.
Grade: A-
Tanner Jeannot
Tanner Jeannot was another offseason addition for the Los Angeles Kings after they traded with the Tampa Bay Lightning for the young forward. There is no question that he has brought some toughness and physicality to this team but the expectations might have been too high based on the fact they traded a second round pick for him.
It is unlikely that the Kings are going to get the Jeannot from the 2021-22 season who had 24 goals and 17 assists. However, he does lead the Kings in hits with 120 (45 more than the next player on the team) and does a lot of the dirty work that can make an offense successful. For that, it definitely helps pull his grade up.
