The Los Angeles Kings (1-2-0) open up the second full week of action early this regular season this fall on the road in a three-game road trip finale against the Minnesota Wild (1-1-0) on Monday evening. This matchup against the Wild will be the third and final game in a brief Western Conference road trip against three postseason contenders from the Central and Pacific Division this past week.

Head coach Jim Hiller and the Kings finished up the regular season's first week with one win and two losses in regulation this past week. The Kings played one of their best games early this regular season this fall this past weekend on Saturday in a tough 3-2 loss in the third period to the Winnipeg Jets.
