Los Angeles Kings rise a couple of spots in the post-Week 7 NHL power rankings early this week
The Kings got a small sign of life of momentum being built on home ice at Crypto Arena in late November and early December this month. Hiller and the Kings won two straight games on home ice this past week in the West against the Ottawa Senators and Vancouver Canucks.
In early December, the Kings were in first place in the Pacific Division standings in the West for the first time this regular season this fall. The Kings have swapped places at the top of the standings in the Pacific Division in the West with the Anaheim Ducks, Vegas Golden Knights, and Seattle Kraken, this season in the past couple of months.
Getting back in the top 10 in this week's power rankings in the league in the NHL is the third-highest ranking for the Kings and Hiller early this regular season. It is also the third time that the Kings have been in the top 10 in the weekly power rankings from THW early this regular season this fall.
The Hockey Writers ranked the Kings in the top 10, at No. 9, in the post-Week 7 NHL power rankings to start the month of December this regular season.
