Jim Hiller and the Los Angeles Kings look set to get a key piece of the forward lines back in the active lineup on Nov. 9 to kick off a six-game road trip in the East against the Pittsburgh Penguins. Forward Warren Foegele was activated from injured reserve on Nov. 8.

This news comes after Foegele was back on the ice for the Kings this past week in practice, wearing the red non-contact jersey in the group skate.

Zach Dooley of LA Kings Insider reported on Nov. 8 that Foegele will make his return to the lineup for the Kings on Sunday against the Penguins in Pittsburgh. Foegele reportedly said that he's "feeling really good" going into his return to the lineup on Sunday (Nov. 9) against Pittsburgh on the road.

He will join the Kings' forward line alongside center Alex Turcotte and veteran winger Corey Perry tomorrow vs. Pittsburgh. Foegele missed the Kings' past five games for LA. He suffered an upper-body injury a couple of weeks ago in the Western Conference five-game road trip against the Chicago Blackhawks in the Windy City on Oct. 26.

"Scoring goals is going to the net. You see Perrs do it almost every night and he’s scoring goals. You have to get the puck there too, you can’t just have bodies. It goes together."

Foegele should be able to give a struggling Kings' offense scoring the puck a shot in the arm tomorrow in Pittsburgh against the Penguins. The Kings have scored no more than three goals in four games in a row.

He scored a goal a few weeks ago in the Kings' two-game homestand against the East in late October against the Penguins. The Kings begin a six-game road trip this upcoming week, starting against the Penguins in Pittsburgh on Nov. 9.
