How to watch the Ontario Reign vs. San Diego Gulls in the AHL preseason opener: Start time, TV, and streaming info

For the first time this fall, the Los Angeles Kings AHL affiliate, the Ontario Reign, will take to the ice this preseason for a contest against the in-state foe San Diego Gulls at Toyota Arena on Sunday afternoon (Oct. 5).

The Reign opened up training camp this fall with on-ice practice and players reporting to the Toyota Sports Performance Center in El Segundo, CA, earlier this past week.

The SoCal Series game this afternoon against the Gulls from San Diego is the only preseason game the Reign are hosting in Ontario at Toyota Arena this fall. The Reign did play an exhibition game in a scrimmage against the Southern California AHL foe the Coachella Valley Firebirds this past week on Oct. 2.

This preseason opener for the Reign against the Gulls this afternoon comes five days before Ontario opens up the AHL regular season this fall against the Tucson Roadrunners at Toyota Arena on Oct. 10.
