A shocker result for the Los Angeles Kings (0-1-0) and head coach Jim Hiller in the home regular season opener last night on Tuesday leads to another difficult matchup in back-to-back games on Wednesday night tonight against the Vegas Golden Knights (0-0-0).
The Kings showed off their new third jerseys and silver helmets last night in the home opener against the Colorado Avalanche in a convincing defeat at Crypto Arena by a score of 4-1.
LA has one of the toughest home schedules this month early in this regular season this fall. The Kings have to face the Avs at Crypto, Golden Knights in the back end of back-to-back games on the road in Vegas, and the Winnipeg Jets this upcoming weekend on Saturday north of the border.
