The projected roster for the upcoming regular season this fall for the Los Angeles Kings and head coach Jim Hiller has started to become more clear late this week amid training camp and the preseason on Thursday. This is starting to feel like we're very close to the regular season opener for LA on Oct. 7 against the Colorado Avalanche.
The Kings cut down the training camp roster to around two dozen players ahead of the upcoming regular season opener next week on Tuesday against the Avs on Thursday.
Tonight against the Utah Mammoth, Hiller and the Kings will have a projected lineup that will look very similar to what LA has in the starting lineup for the opener next week in Colorado against the Avs.
This is the second preseason matchup in a row for the Kings (4-1-0) against the Mammoth (0-4-1) late this week.
