Jim Hiller and the Los Angeles Kings (10-6-4) head to the SAP Center on Thursday night in the late-night slot late this week to face Macklin Celebrini and the division foe San Jose Sharks (9-8-3). The Kings have a much different looking lineup tonight on the forward lines, especially in the top-nine forward group, going out tonight against the Sharks in San Jose.
In the final game in San Jose on the road for center captain Anze Kopitar, the Kings have a chance to sweep the regular season series against the Sharks at the SAP Center this fall. The Kings won the last meeting between these two teams at the SAP Center a few weeks ago in late October by a score of 4-3 on a third-period game-winning goal from defenseman Brandt Clarke in the final frame.
Hiller and the Kings need more out of the offense tonight against the Sharks after the team scored just one goal in the past two games on the road earlier this week.
