Since the holiday break for Christmas this past week in the West, the Los Angeles Kings (16-14-9) and head coach Jim Hiller have struggled to find success in the win column in the standings in the Pacific Division, before facing the Minnesota Wild (25-10-7) on Saturday night (Jan. 3). The Kings couldn't hold onto a one-goal third-period lead in the last game against the Tampa Bay Lightning on home ice at Crypto Arena this past weekend on New Year's Day.

Los Angeles Kings face a hot Minnesota Wild team for two straight games at home this weekend

It's been a long time since the Kings and Hiller won back-to-back games on home ice at Crypto.com Arena this regular season in the West. The Kings are also looking to avoid a three-game losing streak in the West this week in two straight games against the Wild from Minnesota on Jan. 3 and Jan. 5 in the next few days.

Since Minnesota acquired Quinn Hughes from the Vancouver Canucks in a blockbuster trade this past month in December, the Wild have been on fire in the West in the Central Division. The Wild handily defeated the Anaheim Ducks by a margin of three goals in their last game.

Here's a look at the TV/streaming information, start time, and radio broadcast information for the matchup between the Kings and Wild in the first of two straight games at home vs. Minnesota at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, CA, on Jan. 3.
