Head coach Jim Hiller and the Los Angeles Kings (23-20-14) got off to a rough start in the front end of back-to-back games with a new active roster lineup on home ice in the Pacific Division on Wednesday (Feb. 25) in the middle of this week. The Kings and Hiller need to turn the page after a bad loss to the Vegas Golden Knights on home ice at Crypto Arena last night in the Pacific Division in the West.
We'll see if Hiller and the Kings can get the likes of star forward Artemi Panarin, winger Adrian Kempe, and center Quinton Byfield going with production in the offensive zone in the Pacific Division tonight.
Panarin registered two assists and two total points on the stat sheet in the opening frame and in the middle frame in the second period yesterday vs. the Golden Knights on home ice. Byfield and Kempe combined for a few total points and three goals, including one on special teams on the power play on the 5-on-4 man advantage vs. Vegas yesterday.
