Multiple players could return to the active roster lineup for the Los Angeles Kings (12-7-7) and head coach Jim Hiller at home in the first of two straight games against the Chicago Blackhawks (11-9-6) and head coach Jeff Blashill late this week on Thursday night (Dec. 4).
Hiller and the Kings are expecting to get defenseman Drew Doughty back in the active roster lineup on the blue line against the Blackhawks tonight. Doughty has missed the past seven games for the Kings in the West due to a lower-body injury he suffered in mid-November in a regulation win over the Ottawa Senators on the road.
There is also a chance that the Kings get forward Warren Foegele back from an upper-body injury tonight against the Blackhawks at home.
The past week or so to start the month of December has been a bumpy ride for Hiller and the Kings this fall. The Kings have gotten points in the standings in the West in two of the past three games, including a 2-1 overtime win this past week at Crypto.com Arena on home ice against the Vancouver Canucks.
Here's a look at the TV/streaming information, start time, and radio broadcast information for the matchup between the Kings and Blackhawks in the first of two straight games between these two teams at home at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, CA, on Dec. 4.
