Team USA has a shot to go perfect with an undefeated 3-0-0 record in group play in the Winter Olympics late this weekend on Sunday afternoon (Feb. 15) against Leon Draisaitl and Team Germany. The United States will face Germany in the final game of round robin play in the Olympics this weekend on Sunday.

Yesterday afternoon, Team USA defeated Team Denmark by a comfortable 6-3 margin on the scoreboard. But the win came with its fair share of struggles on the ice for the United States yesterday, including trail by a score of 2-1 on the scoreboard at the first intermission at the end of the opening frame in the first period.

We'll see limited changes to the active roster lineup for the United States on Sunday vs. Germany. Connor Hellebuyck is expected to be the starting goalie for Team USA against Phillip Grubauer in net for Germany this afternoon late this weekend.
