Early on Wednesday morning (Feb. 11), men's ice hockey began at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan, including multiple Los Angeles Kings players representing their home countries for winger Joel Armia with Team Finland and winger Adrian Kempe with Team Sweden vs. Italy (the host country).

Kempe and Team Sweden will take the ice in Milan in the 2026 Winter Olympics for the second and the last game on Wednesday in men's ice hockey vs. the host country, Italy. Kempe is among the original six players picked to be a part of Team Sweden for the roster for this Winter Olympics in Milan this month in February.

This is the second time in as many years that Kempe has suited up for Team Sweden since the 4 Nations Tournament for his home country this past year in 2025. Kempe is the Kings' leading scorer this regular season in the West in the Pacific Division, registering a team-high 20 goals and 46 total points in 56 games.
