This is the first time that Armia will be representing his home country in the 2026 Winter Olympics for a deep and talented Finland squad in Italy this upcoming week. He last played for Finland in the 4 Nations Tournament this past year, where his home country went 1-2-0 in round robin play in 2025.
Slovakia is looking to defend their bronze medal from this past Winter Olympics games in 2022. The Slovaks defeated the United States and Germany en route to a bronze medal four years ago in the Winter Olympics in 2022.
