Los Angeles Kings

Record (Points): 40-22-9 (89)

Remaining Games (Home/Road): 11 (8 home games /3 road games)

For the LA Kings, they have to feel good about how the schedule wraps up for them as they have 11 games left and eight of them are at home. They own the best home record in the NHL at 26-3-4 and currently are riding a 15-home-game streak with at least one point.

While they have some winnable games, like against the Sharks, Ducks, Kraken, and Flames, they also have some really tough matchups with games against the Maple Leafs, Jets, and Avalanche as well as two against the Oilers. If they hope to be considered a top team in the Western Conference then they should win more than they lose in those contests to confirm that belief.

Final Points Prediction: 107

The fact that they have eight home games left on their schedule should help them keep pressure on the Vegas Golden Knights right up until the very end of the regular season. If they are able to finish the season winning every home game, which isn't unreasonable, and two of the three road games, that would get them to 107 on the season.

This would be a franchise record and surpass the previous record of 105 points which was set by the 1974-75. However, it may not be enough to close the gap on the Golden Knights.
