Jeff Malott

Jeff Malott was brought up from the Ontario Reign to the Kings later in the season to replace an injured Tanner Jeannot. He is similar to Helenius in that he would bring some physicality to the roster and fill the void left with the departure of Jeannot.

In 12 games he had 19 hits along with seven blocks while registering his first career NHL points with an assist. It is worth noting that Malott will be 29 years old this season and he may be a better fit to start on the Reign and be called up if the Kings have some injuries during the season.

Andre Lee

Andre Lee is another option for the Los Angeles Kings this summer and he saw some time at the NHL level this past season. He would appear in 19 games and had one goal with two assists while adding 36 hits.

Of the 19 games, 16 were in the first two months of the season and it was a little surprising that Lee wasn't called up after Jeannot's injury. If he doesn't have a strong camp, he also probably will begin the season with the Ontario Reign.
