Edmonton Oilers
In all the scenarios, the most likely is that the LA Kings will end up playing the Oilers in the first round for the fourth straight season. The previous three season, the Oilers have knocked out the Kings but each of those series, Edmonton had home-ice advantage.
This could be the difference this season as the Kings currently are in second and a four point lead over the Edmonton Oilers. The two teams will still meet one more time and it is possible that game could be the one to guarantee they finish ahead of Edmonton.
The Kings this season have been pretty successful against the Oilers as they are 2-0-1 with the last meeting being a 3-0 victory for Los Angeles. Even if the Kings were to fall to third in the Pacific Division, the Oilers probably won't catch the Vegas Golden Knights and this still would end up with a Kings/Oilers series to open the NHL Playoffs.
