Ryan Lindgren
If the Kings want to get a little younger at the spot, then Ryan Lindgren could be a logical player to target in free agency to replace Gavrikov. He is only 26 years old and finished this past season with the Colorado Avalanche after the Rangers traded him right before the trade deadline.
Lindgren is a former second round pick for the Rangers and has played in 405 NHL regular season games with 102 points and +/- of +99. He hasn't seen as much ice time in his career with an average over 19 minutes per game, but being at this point in his career, there isn't a reason he can't get closer to 21 minutes with the Kings.
Where he really excels, and would be an asset for the Kings, is his ability to block shots as he has had nearly 600 in his career and broken 100 shots stopped three of the past four seasons. This is something that Gavrikov has done well and Lindgren could help fill that void.
