Determine which unrestricted free agents for LA Kings to bring back

In terms of the unrestricted free agent, it gets a little trickier for the Los Angeles Kings and comes with a lot more uncertainty. The Kings have essentially three players who should be the focus at this point of the offseason, starting with Vladislav Gavrikov.

He is coming off a career-year and should generate a lot of interest in free agency. However, going back a few months now general manager Rob Blake seemed confident that a new contract could be done. Holland should be able to pick up where those negotations left off but it raises the question of why a deal hasn't been done yet unless the two sides are too far apart.

Another player the Kings reportedly were talking a contract extension with was Tanner Jeannot. The Kings traded for him last offseason and in total he had a solid first season in Los Angeles. The fact that discussions have already started, should help Holland here.

The third free agent is Andrei Kuzmenko, who the Kings traded for at the trade deadline. He had probably his best stretch of games since his rookie season and was a great fit for this offense. If the Kings can work out a reasonable short-term deal, it makes sense for him to return.
