Jacob Rombach (Defenseman)

It is hard to miss Jacob Rombach when he is on the ice, as he is 6'6" and he does a good job utilizing that size and reach when on the ice in the defensive end. The scouting report by Neutral Zone describes a consistent player who might not have a high ceiling but has a high floor.

Rombach played the last two seasons in the USHL with the Lincoln Stars and with only six goals and 21 assists but an impressive +29 this past season. He will be playing with the University of Minnesota next season but a player like Rombach is one that could find his way to the NHL quicker than some other prospects.

Alexander Zharovsky (Right Wing)

Based on the scouting report on The Hockey Writers, Alexander Zharovsky might be one of the riskier players in the NHL Draft. He is the true definition of boom-or-bust, and at this point in the NHL Draft, it would be worth the gamble for the LA Kings.

He was one of the biggest risers this year in prospect rankings and finished fifth among international skaters in the final rankings after not being ranked at all in the Midterm rankings by NHL Central Scouting. Every player wants to improve their draft stock, but when a player does it this quickly, it raises the question of whether it is sustainable.

If it is, then he would be one of the best picks in this year's NHL Draft after 24 goals and 26 assists in 45 games in the MHL this past season. It would certainly improve the Kings' prospect pool at forward and has the potential to be a middle six forward in the NHL.
