The Los Angeles Kings had an excellent start to the 2025 NHL Draft as general manager Ken Holland seemed to get the player he wanted in Henry Brzustewicz, but was able to add a second-round pick in the process by trading back in the first round.
The work for Holland and the Kings is not done yet, and they will have a busy Saturday with seven picks over the final six rounds. These are some of the players they could be looking to select that would fit well within the franchise.
Eddie Genborg (Left Wing)
In these later rounds, teams are looking for traits and maybe not necessarily looking for that complete player. For Eddie Genborg, the strength to his game is clear and that is physicality.
According to Neutral Zone, Genborg finishes checks with an average of two hard hits per game and does a good job in board battles. He could be a great fit on the fourth line for the Kings down the road and fits with what Ken Holland is looking for in terms of physicality from his forwards.
