Will the Kings have a new head coach for the Ontario Reign?

The Los Angeles Kings didn't have any changes on their NHL coaching staff this offseason but will be looking for a new head coach for the Ontario Reign. Marco Sturm had been with the Kings in a number of different roles the past few seasons but has served as head coach for the past three. However, he is heading east as he was picked as head coach of the Boston Bruins.

The Kings are now going to be looking for a new head coach and according to Mayor's Manor, the goal was to have that next coach in place before the NHL Draft. If that is the case, they will have someone announced in the next week.

It will be interesting to see what direction they go with this pick, and one of the favorites should be Jay Woodcroft. He is an experienced NHL head coach who has connections to both Holland and Kings' head coach Jim Hiller.
