Will the Kings re-sign any of their other free agents?

Vladislav Gavrikov isn't the only free agent the Los Angeles Kings have this summer and there are a number of other players that could get new deals in the near future. Among that group is Andrei Kuzmenko, who the Kings traded for during the season. He had an excellent finish to the season and was a difference maker on the power play.

In the same interview with Morgan, the Kings' general manager confirmed he has spoken to Kuzmenko's agent but said that it has to work for both team and player.

"“I have talked to Craig Oster (Kuzmenko’s agent). We do have interest in him coming back. But it has to work for him and the player.”"

After Kuzmenko, the Kings have Tanner Jeannot, David Rittich and Trevor Lewis as unrestricted free agents from the NHL roster and players like Samuel Fagemo and Taylor Ward from the Ontario Reign. In addition to this group, Alex Laferriere is a restricted free agent this summer and probably is the biggest priority after Gavrikov to get a deal done.
